Exciting Milestone for FreightSpeed – HPRA WDA Licence Awarded! After an extensive project involving collaboration across multiple teams and stakeholders, we are delighted to announce that FreightSpeed has been awarded our WDA (Wholesale Distribution Authorisation) Licence from the HPRA. This licence now allows us to store pharmaceutical and medicinal products in our fully temperature-controlled warehouse in Rathcoole, Co. Dublin. Our state-of-the-art facility maintains an ambient temperature range of 15°–25°C, continuously monitored in real time to ensure full compliance and product integrity. We currently have 2,500 pallet spaces available for pharmaceutical storage — and we are open for business. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our staff and stakeholders who worked tirelessly to make this achievement possible. Your dedication and teamwork have been instrumental in reaching this important milestone for our company. In addition, we are extremely proud to have rolled out Ireland’s first nationwide, fully temperature-controlled shared pharmaceutical daily distribution network. All of our vehicles are validated and temperature tracked in real time, ensuring complete visibility and compliance throughout the supply chain. Dedicated Freightspeed Garage Developments.

We are delighted to announce recent investment into our garage has lead to massive upgrades. We have added a brand new lift which will increase our capacity to service and repair vehicles by a third. This is in line with our policy to be proactive in how we maintain our fleet rather then reactive, this reduces any probabilities of breakdowns and reduction in service level which assures our continuity of service level for our customers.

New additions to Limerick Fleet!

We are delighted to announce a brand new fleet of ford transits that have been rolled out in Limerick, which will be providing Fast, Efficient, reliable and more sustainable deliveries across Munster for our partners United Drug! These vans will be using a more sustainable fuel source in HVO fuel which will reduce our carbon emissions by 90% which we are very proud of. This comes as part of our 3 year strategy to have our fleet fully transitioned into HVO fuel and electric vehicles as part of our sustainability plan.

Trade Show Coventry

Freightspeed Transport is excited to announce we will be taking part in the Making & Distributing Pharmaceuticals trade show in Coventry on the 23rd and 24th of April. We will be at Stand 107 in the Distributing Pharmaceuticals section. We are delighted at the opportunity to market our expertise in temperature-controlled warehousing and deliveries in both Ireland and the UK.
